A Curtis Davies brace and a Chris Burke strike gave Blues a comfortable 3-0 win against the Hornets at St Andrews on Saturday - a result which saw them move into the top six in the npower Championship table for the first time this season.
"There are going to be a lot of twists and turns before the end of the season," the Blues boss said.
"Any team in this division is capable of winning against the top opposition. It is a nice feeling to be in the top six.
"It is even nicer we now have no midweek games and we no longer have to catch up.
"We now want to enjoy being in the top six and we want to stay there.
"There are a lot of good teams who are underneath us at the moment and close to us points-wise. We know everything can change and you have to be wary of in this division.
"We are where we are on merit and deserve to be in this position."
