Blues had led through a Seb Larsson goal seven minutes from the end of the first half but the hosts drew level within a minute of the restart at Carrow Road on Saturday. "It was ludicrous, criminal, the way we conceded at the start of the second half," McLeish said after the 1-1 draw. "We told the players that they would need to be quick out of the blocks because Norwich would come at us again and what happened was really poor for a club of our aspirations. "But overall I'll take a point even though we came here looking for all three."
Kevin Phillips had a great chance to seal all three points for Blues at the death, on which the Blues boss commented: "I would have put my house on that one — and duly lost it!
"It was a good save by Marshall. Credit to him for getting out at Kevin's throat so quickly."
