The Blues boss admitted to being bitterly disappointed at the side's second half showing in the 2-1 defeatat Turf Moor. "In the first half there was nothing in it, Lee Bowyer had a great chance but it's about getting that ball into the back of the net.. "The disappointing thing was our reaction to going behind. It was a poor first goal, a soft goal having had a free-kick up at the other end and then Burnley going the length of the pitch and scoring, "In the last seven games I couldn't fault the players - they just didn't get the rub of the green. But on today's second-half performance we didn't deserve anything.
"I was disappointed with the second-half showing," he said after the game.
"It would be good if we could score an early goal to build on. We have created chances in all the games but were just not getting that ball over the finish line.
"I would say that is the worst we have played so far this season."
