Bruces View: Tottenham (a)

Blues had plenty of the possession against Spurs and created plenty half-chances either side of Jermain Defoe's 37th minute deflected goal at White Hart Lane but once again came up short in front of goal.
"We've played really well in parts of the game," the Blues boss said after the 1-0 defeat.
"We're delighted with everything we've done apart from stick the ball in the back of the net.
"Thats twice now, against Chelsea last week and now Spurs, that we've conceded a deflected goal which as cost us.
"All we can do is just keep working away at it, keep playing the way that we are, and it'll change.
"We had a vast majority of the game today, had some good half-chances, but its the same old story - if you don't score then you don't win football matches.
"The hardest thing about this Premier League is scoring regularly. I don't just mean strikers but the whole team.
"But, if we keep playing like we are, things will turn for us because I just think we're not getting the rub-of-the-green at the moment.
"They've run their socks off today and not had there reward but if we keep playing like we are and keep creating those chances, especially away from home, we'll be ok."
