The 4-3 reverse at St Mary's was their first defeat in 8 games and the Blues boss is now looking for the side to go on another unbeaten run. "We've played 20 games so far this season with 11 away and only 9 at home. We'll be looking to go on another run and I'm sure we've got the team to do it. "I couldn't believe we were 3-0 down at half-time. I thought we were the better team but we were losing 3-0. "If you were a neutral fan it was a great game but I think I need a drink tonight, in fact I think I need more than one!"
"We didn't get the rub of the green tonight," Bruce said after the game.
"I can't believe we played so well and still managed to lose the game.
"We dragged ourselves back into the game with our second-half performance but gave away another stupid goal to give Southampton the win.
