The Blues boss has come in for a lot of criticism for the indifferent start to the season but the 4-2 Carling Cup win at Bramall Lane and the 1-0 League win at Pride Park last weekend will ease the pressure on Bruce, he believes. "In seven more days maybe we will lose again and it will be crisis time again. I hope it goes away because you can see we have a lot of good young players and I know our future will be decent. "I thought it was a really good cup tie and I can't remember the last time we scored four goals away from home.
"This time last week was probably one of the worst nights of my life in football but we have maybe shut a few people up with all the nonsense that has come out," he said after the 3rd round tie on Tuesday night.
"It sets us up nicely for West Brom on Saturday."
