"It would have been easy not to speak to media after this humiliating defeat," he said after the tie at St Andrew's. "I am shell-shocked, disappointed and humiliated. It was men against boys. This was a result waiting to happen with a patched-up side and chasing the game against the European champions it was an uphill task. "To be two down after four minutes without having a kick of the ball it was game over. "I thought the supporters were fantastic. I can understand their frustration with the situation we are in. "Being the manager of the team I have to bear the brunt and accept the responsibilities. "I will have a good look at myself but it is a result which has been waiting to happen with too many of our big players sitting in the stand. "It is possibly the worst night I've experienced in football. "We now have Manchester United and Chelsea coming up so it is going to be a big test for us all. I am determined to pick up the players."
