Heskey, who was doubtful for the game at Craven Cottage after picking up an injury during the Boxing Day clash against Middlesbrough, not only scored his third goal in as many games but had a hand in the other two goals as well to cap a man-of-the-match performance in the 3-2 win. "I thought Emile Heskey was excellent today, he's the best English-style striker in the Premiership.
"It was as excellent result for us and a good performance. Four wins in a row have certainly made my job easier," Bruce said after the game.
"On his day there is no-one better and he is forming a very good partnership with Clinton Morrison."
