The Blues boss was also happy with the way the side defended at Layer Road having conceded three goals in each of their previous two games against Reading and Southend. "We've been on a dodgy run and we haven't won in four league games. However, it's all still in our hands because we have all the big teams still to play, like Derby, West Brom and Preston. "Colchester are a good team. It's not just about their tiny ground. They play some good football and this is a good point for us."
