Lazaridis - Best game he's had in a long time.
Cunningham - Outstanding at both centre-back and right back.
Upson - Excellent. Commanding throughout.
Pennant - Absolutely superb and a great first Premier League goal for the club.
Johnson - Industrious, as ever.
Izzet - Tenacious - Played well.
Gray - Much more committed.
Jarosik- Good first half and an excellent cross for the first goal. Noticeably tired as the game went on.
Heskey - Jaded. Looked tired. Needs a goal.
