The West Yorkshire official has not taken charge of any of Blues fixtures so far this season but he did referee in 2 of our league games last season. The second of those two games was in the 2-0 win against arch rivals Aston Villa at St Andrew's in March this year when Damien Johnson, Mario Melchiot and Matthew Upson all picked up yellow cards.

Mike Riley has taken charge of one Arsenal league game this season that being in their 2-1 away defeat to Middlebrough on 10th September. Ashley Cole, Cesc Fabregas, Mathieu Flamini and Etame Lauren all received yellow cards at the Riverside on that occasion.

In total Mike Riley has taken charge of five Premier League games so far this season in which he has handed out a massive 25 yellow cards and two reds.

Mr P Kirkup and Mr S Procter-Green will be Mike Rileys assistants for the game at Highbury on Sunday afternoon.
