Mike Dean Refs Man City Match

Blues have already had the pleasure of the Wirral-based official refereeing one of their games this season as he was the man-in-the-middle for our Carling Cup 3rd Round tie against Sunderland on 22nd September. Giovanny Espinoza and Dan Preston were the two Blues players booked in our 2-0 defeat at The Stadium of Light on that occasion.

In total, Mike Dean has taken charge of 9 games so far this season in which he has handed out 30 yellow cards but no reds.

Simon Beck and Richard West will be Mike Dean's assistants for the Premier League match at St Andrews on Sunday afternoon.
