Blues had the pleasure of the Hertfordshire-based official taking charge of just two of their Premier League fixtures last season, the last of these being in the 1-1 home draw against Norwich City back on 27th November 2004. Mario Melchiot and David Dunne were both booked by Mr Poll on that day.
Poll also took charge of just two Baggies fixtures last season the last of these being in their 1-0 home win against Everton on 3rd April 2005, on-loan Kieran Richardson the only Albion player to be cautioned during that game.
In total Graham Poll took charge of 31 Premier League games last season in which he handed out a whopping 101 yellow cards (the most by any of the select list of referees) and 4 reds.
This season Graham Poll has refereed in three Premier League games but already has a list totalling 13 yellow cards and 1 red - that sending off being Nobby Solano in Villa's game against Portsmouth this week.
