This must be the shortest Rate the ref report to date. Our man in black had very little to do and controlled the game with the minimum of fuss. Nine times out of ten advantage was allowed and the game flowed nicely.
Both sides had a half hearted shout for a penalty but the lack of conviction in the appeal spoke volumes.
The only incident worthy of mention was the fracas between Genea and Johnson as Wolves prepared for the free kick which led to the second equaliser of the game. Genea appeared to be riling Johnson by grabbling him and using his arms. The ref was ideally placed and told both players to cut it out.
No prizes for guessing who picked up the only card of the game but Savage can have little to complain about.
