The Blues striker, who has been told he will be allowed to leave St Andrew's if a satifactory offer comes in for him, has been named in T&T coach Bertille St Claire's squad for the 2006 World Cup qualifying match against the United States at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain on Wednesday.
Yorke had retired from international football having played his last competitive match for T&T, ironically, against the USA back in 2001.
"We are very thankful, too, that his coach released him from duty this Saturday because they have a game against Manchester United and though he was committed to playing against his old club, he is also committed to playing for his country now and discussions have allowed him to travel earlier and be here with us," T&T's Football Federation special adviser Jack Warner said.
