The Trinidad and Tobago international striker has been told by Blues boss Steve Bruce that he will be allowed to leave St Andrew's if and when a suitable offer is accepted by both club and player and long time admirers, Australian Hyundai League side Sydney FC, looked to have won the race to sign the former Blackburn, Man United and Villa striker.
"I think and have heard he will be coming over this week," new Sydney manager and former German international midfielder Pierre Littbarski has said.
"He is supposed to come over and hopefully we can have good discussions."
