"I'm thoroughly enjoying it at QPR," he said. "There's a terrific atmosphere about the place because they've got a great manager who's full of enthusiasm and ideas and the supporters can sense things turning round after some hard times.
"It's great to have been ever-present in a winning side but the most important thing is that every match is a learning process for me.
"Steve Bruce told me to come down here and get some games in with a good lower-division club because it's a huge step up to the Premiership and I need more experience.
"I know I've got the attributes to make it in the top-flight, most of all my pace. But I still have plenty to learn and the more first-team football you play the more you learn how to make the best of your attributes.
"That's what's happening at the moment. The club is buzzing, we are playing some great football and I feel myself improving. I'll return to St Andrews a better player, no question about that."
