The Blades boss, who took his side to the semi finals of the competition last season, hopes Blues overcome Sunderland in the 5th round replay next week to set up a quarter final between his side and the Blues on 6th-7th March. "You want a Premier League club or one from a lower division. We will all be wanting Birmingham to win. "I think If you don't get an Arsenal or a Manchester United you've got to have a chance of going through. Although we won't be favourites I think we've got a chance of progressing. "We're trying to make ends meet. We need to get money from other avenues so a Cup run is fantastic."
"No disrespect to Sunderland manager Mick McCarthy but you do not want to play people from your own division," he said after Mondays draw.
