James Walker is celebrating ten years as the Saddlers' goalkeeper during the 2003-4 season.
A Testimonial Committee has been formed to arrange events and fundraising for 'Wacka' and the highlight of their special year, so far, is a Testimonial Match on Tuesday 5th August between Walsall and Blues.
At the start of the evening the Wacka Testimonial Committee hope to have a short match between teams of Walsall Old Stars such as Andy Rammell, Chris Marsh, Neil Pointon and many more who are coming along to pay tribute to Wacka. Exact time to be confirmed, though anticipated to be about 7pm.
For the main game, Blues boss Steve Bruce has promised to take a strong squad to the Bescot in aid of this worthy testimonial, while Walsall will be including new signings Stefan Oakes, Simon Osborn, Jamie Lawrence, Vinny Samways and, of course, PAUL MERSON!!
The match at the Bescot kicks off at 7.45pm.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children and concessions.
