The Blues striker, who has been told he can leave the club if a suitable offer comes in for him, was making his first start for his country in almost four years against the Americans and despite the Soca Warriors losing 2-1 in the World Cup qualifier in Port of Spain, head coach St Clair described Yorke's performance as 'excellent'.
"I thought it was excellent," he told the Trinidad & Tobago Express.
"He didn't score goals, but if you recognised the sort of runs that he made, he was masterminding all the passes."
Australian side Sidney FC are said to have begun talks about signing the former Villa, Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers striker who has failed to hold down a regular first team place since joining the Blues at the beginning of the season.
