The versatile defender, who is yet to make a first team appearance for Blues since joining on loan from Pompey on 10th February, is to undergo scans on a hamstring injury that he sustained in a reserve team friendly match against Irish side St. Patricks Athletic this week. "We will scan him and see if there is any tear there," Blues manager Alex McLeish told the Birmingham Mail. "He said that he has had this before and he recovered quite quickly from it," McLeish added. "I don't know if maybe he was feeling a bit tight. "If the scan shows a tear, then of course it would be a two or three-week job, maybe three or four weeks."
