John scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the game with Guadeloupe in the Marvin Lee Stadium on Friday evening and followed this up with a headed goal in the Soca Warriors 3-1 defeat to eventual group winners Cuba at the Manny Ramhohn Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues striker was also on the scoresheet in Triniadad and Tobago's first game which they won 2-0 against Antigua and Barbuda last Wednesday.
