The Hong Kong businessman has sent formal documents to all shareholders and is expected to take overall control at St Andrews within the next three to four weeks. "My personal view is that it seems to me that everything is in place and that the deal will go through," Blues chairman David Gold has told Sky Sports News. "Once the deal is done of course I'll be sitting down with Carson, offering my services to certainly see the club through its transitional period.
"I feel I owe the fans that at the very least."
