The last sighting Blues fans had of Mr Styles was in the opening game of the season against Tottenham at St. Andrew's when he handed out an amazing eight bookings. Robbie Savage, Stephen Clemence and David Dunn all seeing yellow in that fixture.
Blues fans will also remember the Hampshire official for his sending off of defender Kenny Cunningham in the opening game of the Asia Cup tournament against Newcastle Utd in Malaysia.
The last time Mr Styles refereed a Premiership clash at Goodison Park was in the Everton v Newcastle fixture earlier this season when Toffees left back Gary Naysmith and Magpies winger Lauren Robert saw red and another eight players were booked!
So far this season Mr Styles as refereed in eight Premiership games and sent-off an unbelievable seven players. He has handed out 39 yellow cards in these games also!
