The Saints have big injury worries ahead of the live television clash this weekend with James Beattie out with a broken toe, Kevin Phillips out with a calf injury and former Villa flop Peter Crouch still about five weeks from a return from a knee injury.
Saints' other striker Brett Ormerod is currently on a one month loan deal at Leeds and although that deal ends on Saturday it is unlikely he'll be considered to play two games in two days.
