John, a major canditate to replace the injured Clinton Morrison in the Blues attack for the remainder of the season, was influential in the Group B CFU Gold Cup qualifying victory over Antigua and Barbuda.

In front of 9000 fans at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, John lifted the ball neatly over an advancing defender inside the box, then took it down before laying it into the path of German based Evans Wise to open the scoring on just three minutes.

And the Blues striker capped a fine performance by scoring himself 11 minutes into the second half, rifling in a shot from just inside the six yard box.
