Stan got manager Steve Bruce's vote for goal of the season for his purler in the 3-0 win against Everton at St Andrews on 11th February.

Here's how our match reporter Richard Barker described the goal in his after match report: "Seven minutes before the break Blues were 2-0 up thanks to Lazaridis. Savage played an excellent ball in front of the Australian winger, and that was all the invitation he needed. Lazaridis swept forward, past the Everton defenders before unleashing a terrific shot past Martyn from a tight angle for his second of the season."

In the other awards, on-loan striker Mikael Forssell swept the board, picking up four trophies. He was named Blues' Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and The Junior Blues Player of the Year. He scooped his other trophy for Top Goalscorer.

Ian Bennett was named Clubman of the Year whilst young winger Carl Motteram scooped the Young Player of the Year award.
