While the Blues midfielder was away on international duty in Russia with Wales the weekend papers were saying that Everton boss David Moyes would come back again for Savage once the transfer window re-opens in January, he showed an interest in the summer according to the press.
Quite amazingly the Everton boss is also said to be ready to bid for out-of-favour centre-back Darren Purse too, according to these reports.
Amazing because I heard Moyes state quite clearly on TV last week that he'd have little or no cash available for new signings when the 'window' re-opens in the new year.
Maybe we're going to give him the two for nothing!!
