Savage was replaced by Darren Carter seven minutes into the second half of the game at Eton Park but Blues boss Steve Bruce has confirmed the Wales international will be leaving with the rest of the Blues squad for their tour of Malaysia today.
"Robbie's injury is very disappointing and we will know more in 48 hours.
"I'm not sure if he'll miss the start of the season but an injury at this time is not ideal."
