"I want to be the best player on the pitch every week and that keeps me going," said Savs. "I need to play on Saturday with a goal at the end of it. That keeps my drive. I want to earn a new contract and get paid lots of money.
The Wales international midfielder, who still has another year-and-a-half to run on his present deal at St. Andrews, has recently indicated that he would like to committ himself to The Blues for the remainder of his career but states that any new contract affered to him would have to have goals included in it.
