The Blues midfielder was given a standing ovation by the Foxes fans before kick-off at the Walkers Stadium but that all changed once he'd made his first typical Robbie challenge early in the game.
"To be fair I was expecting a good ovation because I did well for Leicester but after my first tackle it all changed," he said after the Blues 2-0 victory.
"But you expect that because I play for Birmingham City now and the Foxes fans should know what to expect because thats the way I played for them.
"I fully enjoyed it."
