Both the Blues and the Villa were handed home ties in last Sunday's third round draw and the club have confirmed that after consultation with the FA and the Police it will be us who plays on the Saturday while Villa's game against Manchester Utd has been switched to a Sunday kick-off.
Should a replay be needed in the Blues v Rovers tie, that will be played at Ewood Park on Wednesday, 14th January 2004 with an 8pm kick-off time.
I can't remember the last time I watched an FA Cup game at St. Andrew's at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon although some fans may say they can't remember EVER seeing an FA Cup tie at St. Andrew's given our form in the competition over the last few years!!
