With Muzzy Izzet, Stephen Clemence and Stan Lazaridis still not recovered fully from knee, calf and thigh injuries respectively it looks more than likely that the Blues boss will start with the same eleven players that drew 0-0 with Manchester United at St Andrew's last weekend.
Another option would be to start the game at St Mary's with the side that finished the game against United meaning that Darren Anderton would come in for Jesper Gronkjaer on the right side of midfield.
Nothing went right for Gronkjaer last weekend but he is a winger and they are frustrating at the best of times but I expect Bruce to opt for the Danish winger with Anderton on the bench once again.
If this proves to be the case it will be the first time this season that Bruce has, through no fault of his own, named an unchanged starting eleven for two games in a row!!.
