Salas rumours dismissed

Weekend reports claimed Blues were interested in the Juventus player but Bruce has scoffed at these suggestions in his after match comments on Capital Gold radio after the game with West Ham.

"The Salas story is nonsense," Bruce told radio show host Tom Ross.

"I was a bit shocked when I heard that myself.

"Of course we are going to be linked with different players, but that's just one to sell newspapers."
