No surprise at some of the names doing the rounds as being linked with a move to St. Andrew's then: Newcastle's out-of-favour right full-back Andy Griffin, Nottingham Forest's left-sided midfielder Andy Reid and Arsenals, on-loan at Leeds, right sided midfielder Jermain Pennant.
Manchester Utd's Nicky Butt as also been mentioned in certain circles but can you seriously see the England international leaving a side at the top of the Premier League table and in the latter stages of the Champions League??
Finally, its no secret that Bruce likes Celtic strike duo John Hartson and Henrik Larsson (not many don't!) but with the latter already stating that he intends to see out the remainder of Parkhead contract it will be the summer before anything happens there and Blues are sure to face strong competition for the Swedes signature too.
