Media reports had suggested that Blues were ready to table bids for Rovers defender Matt Mills and midfielder Brian Stock. "I've heard that Birmingham are set to make an £8million bid for Matt Mills and Brian Stock but there's no truth in it as far as I am concerned," Ryan told the Sheffield Star. "If Birmingham offered that amount of money for the two of them, we'd snatch their hands off. "I wouldn't be surprised if Alex McLeish did fancy Brian. Brian is a very good player and I wouldn't like to replace him."
However, their chairman John Ryan has dismissed these rumours although he has admitted that if the reported £8million offer for the duo were to materialise then his club would have to consider it.
"But as far as I am concerned, there is no such offer in the pipeline.
