Steve Bruce was, last month, rumoured to be keen on adding the Republic of Ireland international left-sided midfielder to his squad and with the opening of the transfer window fast approaching media reports are once again suggesting that the Blues boss could make an enquiry about Reid's availability in January.
Reid, who won his first full cap for Brian Kerr's side in the international friendly against Canada last month, has bagged 9 goals in 24 appearances for Forest so far this season.
