Blues boss Steve Bruce said after the game that he hoped the St. Helens official would study video evidence of the booking he handed to Dunn for allegedly diving in the box under a challenge from Wanderers defender Ivan Campo and the referee has done just that and rescinded the yellow card he gave to the Blues midfielder.
"Having reviewed the indicent on video, Foy has decided that Dunn did not commit any offence and as such has requested The FA to remove the yellow card from Dunn's record," part of a statement at the fa.com reads.
