Meanwhile, midfielder Aliou Cisse has now amassed 10 yellow cards for the season following his caution against Charlton on Sunday and therefore faces a two game ban - he will miss the away game against Fulham in the FA Cup on January 5th and the Premiership clash with Arsenal at St. Andrew's on January 12th.
Olivier Tebily also misses the FA Cup tie at Loftus Road having picked up his 5th yellow card of the season against Charlton.
Striker Geoff Horsfield faces a three game ban following his red card in the same game.
