Manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that Blues have agreed a fee with The Eagles for the 26-year-old Republic of Ireland international. "We have agreed a fee with Palace for Clinton," Blues boss Steve Bruce told Sky Sports. "They have matched the offer from Norwich City and it is now down to the player."
Norwich have also agreed a fee with Blues for Morrison and held talks with the player last week.
Morrison joined Blues from Palace three seasons ago for £4.25 million with striker Andrew Johnson moving to Selhurst Park as part of the deal.
However, he has failed to hold down a regular starting place at St Andrew's and wants to leave to secure regular first team football.
