The Senegal international signed on a six-month contract which began on January 1st this year.
Blues had an option of a three-year permanent contract on the player should they regain their Premiership status, which they duly did.
However, at the end of last season Blues boss Steve Bruce was reported as saying that Coly would not be offered a new deal.
Coly was pictured in Thursday nights Birmingham Evening Mail in a photo showing the Blues squad on the opening day of pre-season training and in todays list of next seasons squad list he is listed as number 33!!
Has Bruce had a change of heart?
