At 8.30pm every Saturday evening Sky will show the full 90 minutes of a match selected from the day's 3pm kick-offs. A decision on the 'Game of the Day' will be made after 5pm on Saturday.
Later, at At 10.15 pm, a choice of extended highlights of every game played that day is to be shown and Sky digital viewers will be offered a menu of up to eight Premiership games to choose from.
Digital viewers will be able to choose whether to watch their own team's highlights or any other featured games. Highlights of all games will run for about 50 minutes each.
Meanwhile, BBC's Match of the Day will be celebrating its 40th year when it returns every saturday evening at 10.30pm beginning 14th August.
For the first time, Match of the Day will be sending a commentator to every match and will include highlights, not just the goals, of every game.
On Sunday nights BBC will be showing Match of the Day Two.
