The Blues midfielder, who missed almost all of last season with a knee injury he sustained in Blues' summer 2005 pre-season game against Deportivo, has been named in Tunisia coach Roger Lemerre's squad for the tournament with begins in June.
The 2004 African champions are in Group 'H' along with Saudi Arabia, Spain and Ukraine.
They open their World Cup campaign against Saudi Arabia in Munich on 14th June.
