The Blues striker, who has not played since dislocating the shoulder in the Premiership game against West Brom at St. Andrew's in March, will play some part in the game at Witton Albions, Wyncham Park stadium tonight.

Meanwhile, midfielder Aliou Cisse will get his first pre-season game under his belt when he turns out for Blues reserves in their first match of the season against Blackburn Rovers next week.

Cisse is about two weeks behind the rest of the first-team squad in terms of fitness, after a fall-out with manager Steve Bruce over his attitude last month.

The Senegal international skipper turned up late for the first day of pre-season training on July 10th and was placed on the transfer list by the Blues boss.

However, after a change of heart, Cisse returned to pre-season training last week and will get his first game of the summer by playing some part for Keith Bertschins side in the game against Rovers next wednesday.
