Kerr has confirmed that the Blues striker will partner Tottenham's Robbie Keane in the Irish attack for the international friendly at Landsdowne Road tonight.
“Clinton will start alongside Robbie up front again," he said.
"He’s playing well for Birmingham at the moment and I would say, although I obviously haven't seen all his games, that it’s probably the best form he’s been in since joining the club,” added the Ireland boss.
Blues defender Kenny Cunningham is likely to captain the Irish side in what will be his 53rd appearance for his country should he play.
