Derby boss John Gregory told the Derby County official website: “Tommy has a lot of experience at this level. He has a proven goalscoring record and is a versatile performer who will roll his sleeves up and graft for the team too.
"I am sure he will become a big favourite straight away.
“We have a chance to have a good look at him with the possibility of maybe making it something a bit more permanent in the future."
