The Blues boss has said that he does not fear losing his job following the Hong Kong businessman's Grandtop International Holdings company announcing on Tuesday that they have acquired over 90 per cent of shares in the club which allows them to purchase the remainder of the shares on a compulsory basis. "I don't have any trepidation with the new owners' takeover," he said. "I have not even thought about that side of it. "I don't know a lot but that is what makes it a bit exciting. I don't have any fear. "We are looking forward to a new era. The fans are anticipating another step forward."
McLeish is looking forward to working with the new owners and is hoping funds will be made available for new players in January.
"As far as I'm aware my contract protects me but I am looking at the positive side of it, with the new owners and myself working together.
"I am ambitious and they are ambitious and, of course, if there is money to spend, we would welcome it.
