McFadden Return Not Certain

McFadden has been sidelind since sustaining a knee injury during the home draw against Newcastle United last month.

The Scotland international forward had been expected to return to the first team for the game against his former club at St Andrews this Saturday but manager McLeish has said he will not be rushing McFadden back into action.

Elsewhere Olivier Kapo has returned to first team training having been sidelined since picking up a hamstring injury during the home draw against Arsenal in February.

However, he too is not certain to be fit in time for the Everton game.

"I don't know if Kapo and McFadden are going to be ready. It's a waiting game for those two," McLeish has said.

"But we'll have (Franck) Queudrue available again and (Liam) Ridgewell's available after suspension."
