Villa and Everton were due to play in a four-team tournament in China at the end of May but the tour has been cancelled on the advice of the Foriegn office.
Although the planned tournament in Kuala Lumpa is not until late July and according to the World Health Organisation that area is not yet affected by the SARS virus, Premiership officials are monitoring the situation closely.
