Upson, who won his third full cap for England in the Euro 2004 qualifier victory over Croatia in June, has been chosen as a late inclusion because of injury doubts to both Sol Campbell and Jonathan Woodgate for the friendly international game at Ipswich's Portman Road ground this Wednesday, 20th August.
